Vellumail hosts your domain's mail entirely - SMTP, IMAP, JMAP, CardDAV, and webmail all run on our infrastructure. Getting a domain receiving and sending mail takes three steps.
Pick a plan on the pricing page and complete checkout. This creates your account and, once billing is confirmed, provisions a tenant for your organization - a shared or dedicated database depending on the plan.
From Account → Domains, add the domain you want to send and receive mail for. You'll need access to that domain's DNS records at your registrar or DNS host to complete setup.
Each domain's page shows the exact records to publish:
Mail will still flow before DNS is fully propagated, but other providers are more likely to mark it as spam until SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are all in place and aligned.
Once your domain is verified, head to Mailboxes to create your first mailbox.
